Before I started Lunar Light Co.,
I wanted more out of the candles I bought. I wanted the candle to tell a dark and haunting story. Stories about old libraries, cemeteries, the nostalgia and magic that Halloween Nights bring, my love for music & movies, the enchanting feelings that Autumn brings..Because that is what I love and I knew there were others like me out there. I wanted the candle to represent my personality and home decor. So it started as a hobby for myself. I wanted the fragrances to evoke those feelings I felt for everything I love. Scent is a powerful thing. It can bring you so many memories and can take you to that special place. So I started mixing different scents and created blends that could tell those stories in detail. Sometimes, I create the label first, creating the art to tell that story and setting the stage, and sometimes, I create the fragrance first and the artwork follows after. It's a long process but I always want it to be a special experience for me and others.
And so, Lunar Light Co. was born.
My emotions, heart and passion for the things I love tell these stories through candle form. I have met so many awesome people and have had such beautiful experiences through this journey. All of the candle batches are hand poured, labeled, and packaged with love!
